As a native Spanish speaker (I am from Argentina), it was very important that both my children learn Spanish fluently. Having spoken to them a little in Spanish as babies and toddlers, they had a very basic understanding of the language. So, when it came to formalising their learning of Spanish, it was just as important to find an enthusiastic native Spanish teacher. In Ana I found that, and so much more!
Both children have had weekly lessons with Ana from year 4 until year 8 (after that they went off to senior boarding school). Ana has been wonderful with them: patient, enthusiastic, imaginative and fun, whilst at the same time consistent, thorough and dedicated. She cares deeply about them, not just about their progress in Spanish, but also about their wellbeing and confidence.
Ana has also been very flexible, in order to maximise the learning opportunities for my children. In addition to lessons at Ana’s home, Ana has also found slots in the school timetable when she was able to come in to their school to teach additional weekly lessons. This has meant that they have gone from strength to strength and were successfully tackling GCSE level exercises by the age of 13.
None of this would have been possible without Ana.
She is a great teacher and a wonderful person. We are grateful to her and would recommend her without hesitation.

Studying independently for GCSE, Ana’s lessons were invaluable to me. She provided all the help and support I needed to do well, covering all aspects of the curriculum.
The lessons were well structured and planned and always really enjoyable. Ana even made difficult points of grammar seem much more straightforward. Homework tasks were set appropriately and Ana gave me excellent feedback on them.
Ana also adapted to the pace at which I was learning as the lessons progressed which was very beneficial. I thoroughly enjoyed learning with Ana.
She is a fantastic tutor who inspired me in my own learning to succeed.
